About Me

Hello!

I attended Tarleton State University where I received a degree in both Elementary Education with an emphasis on English and Reading and a Master's of Education with principal certification.

I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th grades. I taught 3rd grade for 10 years, and I loved it!

I am a trained "Reading Recovery" teacher.

I have been a teacher at Seguin Elementary since it opened it's doors in 2002.

I recently completed my 22nd year of teaching...hopefully I don't look it!

I love horses, dogs, reading, being out on the lake, vacationing in the mountains, watching my friends and family compete in team roping, and teaching children to read and love books.

I LOVE my job! I truly believe that Seguin has the best students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Go Roos!
